Audition Notice
Twice a season Tacoma Actors Repertory Theatre (TART) holds open auditions for artists interested in being considered for ANY role in ANY scheduled work for the current season.

Callbacks or second audition/interview?

Audition Requirements:
Please prepare the following:
- (1) 60 second modern comedic monologue
- (1) 60 second modern dramatic monologue
- (1) 60 second classical monologue (comedic or dramatic)
- Optional:
- 16 Bars of a song of your choice (musical theatre selections preferred).
Please note: There will NOT be an accompanist on site, so you will need to bring a CD or MP3 of your accompaniment. A Capella performances will not be allowed.

Other details:
Tacoma Actors Repertory Theatre’s company of performers is comprised of Resident Artists and Guest Artists. Our Resident Artists receive casting priority and are either offered or given the opportunity to read for roles in an upcoming fall or spring season. To be considered for resident artistry a performer must have worked on a minimum of two productions with the company. There is no direct audition for the Resident Company.

Most Roles Available
There are instances of violence, profanity and sexually explicit material in several of this season’s selections. Please inform the Auditor if you have any issues or reservations regarding any of these scenarios.
Monetary compensation:
TART pays standard AEA rates for BOTH Union and non-Union actors. Artists are hired on contract per show.
