Join Krista Mirhoseini of Mirhoseini Creative Law\, PLLC for the first in a three-part series on Creative Business Basics. \nIn this workshop you’ll learn about the basics of copyright and trademarks\, including what each one protects\, how to register them (and why)\, licensing them\, and what to do if someone infringes your copyrighted work or trademarks. \nThis workshop is the first in a three-part series. The following two workshops in the series will take place on April 9\, covering Generative A.I. and VARA; and June 25\, covering Artist Contracts.  Attendance of the other workshops in this series is not required\, and note that you must register for each workshop you would like to attend separately. She is an intellectual property and business attorney\, focusing much of her practice on advising both individuals and businesses engaged in creative work. \nPrior to forming her law firm\, Krista spent over two decades practicing law as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 global tech company\, an art studio\, and as a commercial litigator.
