Got Stress? Meet Mindfulness

June 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Stress is a natural response to life, but even ordinary levels of stress can lead to burn out, especially for entrepreneurs. And whose levels are ordinary? Simple, healing practices exist to help. They require only the courage to pause. In this 60-minute session, learn the basics of pausing through mindfulness meditation, and experience the possibility of living with more joy and well being—no matter your stress level.

About our presenter:
Allison Schuette brings 18 years as a facilitator, writer, and university educator to mindfulness practice. In 2023, she earned her certification to teach mindfulness from Sounds True and UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center. Now, through Mindful Pause Center, Allison teaches and coaches, helping individuals and groups center care when encountering habits and patterns they’d like to transform. She is trained in empathy and compassionate listening, two qualities she’s developed through and coursework in Nonviolent Communication and Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness and a decade of storytelling with the Welcome Project.
