We train ordinary people to do extraordinary research projects aimed at making Tacoma a better place for everyone who lives here. We want to inspire people to unlock their full potential to become expert creative, collaborative, problem solvers.
After K-12, so much of the access to learning is behind a pay-wall. College requires an enormous amount of time, and tuition has been steadily increasing for the last four decades. We provide people with a life changing opportunity to develop high-level research and critical thinking skills that are normally taught only in graduate schools. We foster a community of learners who can help themselves in their own careers and intentionally improve their community at the same time.
