Founded by Kirsty Kalkhoven and Devon Long, Chowtown is a family-friendly location full of food trucks, outdoor seating, and entertainment. Its mission is to provide a place to celebrate diversity, create food and build community. Kalkhoven and Long envision Chowtown as an avenue for local chefs to experiment with food and as a place to showcase Tacoma’s culinary talent. The food trucks will offer fresh and locally sourced organic ingredients and range from snack items to gourmet treats.
