Working with our minds and bodies is a joy that should be accessible to all people because it is a part of our humanity. I have a special talent for explaining highly technical information relatably. Meeting my clients where they are at and tailoring curricula to their interests taps in to their innate motivation and creative curiosity. This talent of mine is especially critical in the field I am choosing, because communication skills do not often naturally go hand-in-hand with artistic talent or technical ability.
The impact of my business has been, and I hope will be, a greater empowerment of people from all walks of life to be both more self-sufficient and more supportive members of our community. I believe strongly in the principles of mutual aid—that community is built through giving and receiving labor and resources according to our own abilities and needs.
