The Dancescapes Project, in partnership with Spaceworks Tacoma and The Barefoot Collective, invited dance teachers and professionals to submit class and work proposals for their free community dance workshop, which took place in downtown Tacoma in August 2012. Eight teachers and eight dance artists were selected to teach a class and/or perform in an informal showing (eight classes, eight works). Dancescapes appreciates all forms of dance from contemporary modern and ballet to ballroom and B-boying.
