At Mind Wanderer Mental Health, we believe that mental health experiences should drive us together, not apart. Our innovative solution addresses the growing need for accessible, personalized mental health care in a post-pandemic world. I have created a unique mobile mental-health clinic that combines the convenience of telehealth with the irreplaceable human connection of in-person therapy.
Mind Wanderer is a step towards making Pierce County the most mentally well county in the state. Market research tells me that there are a wide range of Tacomans looking for mental health support. They feel as though they “don’t know where to start” when it comes to finding care and that navigating the traditional mental health space can feel too clinical and counter-intuitive to seeking better well-being. Having a mobile-office travel around not only offers convenience to those seeking therapy, it also makes the need and support of mental health care more visible and transparent.
