The Painting Panda Pottery Studio is located in the Dome District in Freighthouse Square. We are a paint-it-yourself pottery studio. Customer choose pre-made bisque pottery. They design and paint it. We later glaze the piece and fire it in a kiln. It is a perfect place to take a date, a kid’s birthday party, or bring friends.
The idea that anyone of any age can paint and create art on a blank canvas, which goes through a high temperature kilns is amazing. The fact that you are touching a piece that later will be heated to over 1800 degrees is always a conversation piece. Children love the pieces and that they can freely paint. Adults love the peace and relaxation of making a beautiful piece that will either be a gift or something that will add to their home.
