May 2022 – August 2022

This mural is a reflection on the cycle of water around us. It’s movement through the mountains, rivers and sky. Where is water abundant? Where is it scarce? Water’s flow is ever changing. How have you noticed water’s flow change?

This mural is part of a series of “water drawings” that Colin completed over the course of winter. As part of Spaceworks Tacoma’s art residency program, Colin created large temporary drawings with water on concrete at various locations throughout the city. These drawings became performances, intended to be viewed by the fortunate few who happened to walk by (and of course for all those on the internet to see in video form!).
