“Edison Square Bulbs” is a literal interpretation for the building it was painted on, the Edison Square Building. The true meaning however is much more than what it may seem on a surface level. This interactive mural allows you to stand underneath your favorite bulb, pull the beaded string and show off your light to the world, have a bright idea, or simply just brighten up your day. That is the real significance of this piece, to bring radiance and brilliance to the city, light up the alleyway for those who traverse it, and serve as a reminder to always shine your light and glow even in moments of darkness.”
