Business Planning Cohort Goes Virtual

As we pass the halfway mark of our 2020 Spring Business Planning Cohort, we thought it would be a good time to update you on new developments in our Incubator program.

While every cohort is unique, this one definitely has a lot of firsts. Not only do we have a new training coordinator, Spaceworks alum Jennifer English, but we’re also running the class entirely online. We’ve moved from paper-filled binders to an internal Google site, we use LivePlan to build one’s business plan, and we’ve taken to Zoom for our classroom instruction, presentations, and break-out sessions. While we certainly miss the face-to-face interactions, we’re also building new digital learning skills that we’ll carry forward into the future.

Despite the challenges, the participating students are still gaining the experience and skills to thrive as new business owners. Their business foundations and supportive peer network will serve them well as the first Spaceworks cohort entering into a COVID-19 reality. We are so proud of their creativity and resilience and wish them well in the next chapter of their entrepreneurial journey.

Join Us for a Virtual Graduation
